You didn’t answer my question.
Isn’t it a personal choice to live in Florida? Can’t one live in North Dakota to avoid frequent natural disasters?
Living in Florida, you are pretty much guaranteed to get hit by a hurricane once every 3-5 years.
I didn’t ask to pay for their irresponsible personal choices.

BAM…now you said something sane and that I agree with. Now apply that to the personal choice of taking out a loan to pay for your college education.

…and remember this when the next earthquake comes and California has their hand sticking out.
Lemme guess…that’s different.

Unitary executive was bad when Trump was POTUS.

So you agree, for the sake of consistency, that we shouldn’t give any money to Floridians for damages from the hurricane?

And yet you want me to pay for everyone else’s student loans, taken out voluntarily allegedly with the understanding they would have to be paid back.
Weird right!

Put into practice what you say here in Hannity Land.

You are misunderstanding. I don’t have a problem spending federal money for individuals who need help. Even though I didn’t make the personal choice to live in Florida, that doesn’t mean I am against giving money to people who have been damaged by it. Some of those people are irresponsible… so what?
However YOU and other conservatives seem to have an issue with doing a similar thing for student loan borrowers. You claim that you don’t want to pay for their irresponsible choices.
So, for the sake of consistency, you should also not want to pay for the irresponsible choices of Floridians.
You didn’t answer my question. Remember I don’t have a problem using federal money to help some “irresponsible” people. You do.

What a stupid attempted analogy.

…and it’s more typical lib nonsense.

No, I want some consistency out of conservatives. I am hearing that federal money being “spent” for irresponsible choices is bad. Extending that logic to paying Floridians for their irresponsibility should also be bad… right?
I mean, they voluntarily live in Florida, right?
Sorry you don’t understand.
Is a choice to live in a state that has frequent hurricanes? Yes or no?

I do understand. It’s stupid. A loan is a contract, a conscious choice. Not an act of God.
Get it together.
