The first law of political dynamics

Part A. Virtually every president signs off on more spending than the previous president.

Part B. Republicans don’t care about the debt unless it’s democrats that are running it up.
Democrats don’t care about the debt unless it’s the republicans that are running it up.

This law is rarely broken. And the honest among you will acknowledge that this law is indeed true.

One of the main priorities of our Congressional representatives is to get reelected. It’s much easier to get reelected when you don’t cut any government spending.

Biden added half as much debt as Trump. Half as much during covid and half as much out of covid.

Roughly.

That’s ■■■■■■■■■ Biden was running roughly 2 trillion dollar defits each year:

That doesn’t say each year. But it makes you think it does. If you read the New York post article they cite. That becomes even clearer.

Do you not know what “virtually” means in the context of the post??

So according to this Trump added 7.8 trillion to the debt while Biden added nearly 8.5 trillion to the debt:

U.S. Debt by President: Dollar and Percentage U.S. Debt by President: Dollar and Percentage

To be fair to each, Congress absolutely is just as responsible.

But the fact that you said absolutely nothing about Biden or Obama when they were running up debt, proves that you obey the law.

And neither Trump voters nor Biden voters said a word when their guy ran up the debt. My law is rock solid.

So far. my law is being proven true.
:call_me_hand:

Yeah I knew the libs were lying about that.

That old buzzard was throwing away money right and left.

I would say indeed true…but for one brief moment in history it was going other way.

Does anyone here remember it?

Except Biden regime top/front loaded it under Trump fiscal year…nice try lib.

I was commenting on the inaccuracy of your first law.

Really? I don’t need a comment. Anyone can comment. I need examples. Maybe an example of you complaining about Obama or Biden spending? Takr you time.

My law is proving to be rock solid so far.

Yes, you commented, but the word “virtually” made it accurate.

Biden spent half as much as trump. I think that’s good.

I’m talking about trump’s first term. How could biden have top loaded him?

Nope.

Biden spent half of trump.

Obama spent about 60% of Bush.
