here, and in the senate, acc to that stuff-shirt button down conservative Durbin

awe ignore him tho. you are challenging society and institutions!

No one is challenging anything. Get over it.

if no one like brain damaged democrat senators arent going to change anything by being frumpy sloven pigs with broomstick calves sported in sweatpant cutoffs and gangsta hoodies, what is it exactly that i should “get over?”

Is politics your God? Is the Democratic party your God?

Susan Collins said she was wearing a bikini.

Well, that’s not true.

Y’all figuring to make it a mandate - no suits and ties?

Just as an observation, DC is a humid swamp, and I bet come summer, more than one Senator will be happy about shedding the tie and jacket. Jacket!

What is so sacred about a jacket on a 90° day with 90% humidity!?

jacket is one thing. looking like a sloven slob is another

shows how much democrats think about the senate and govt. decorum not surprised

it’s a “national nightmare” to have to wear a suit tho huh?

Nope, least they can do is show up to work and legislate - which is what they are paid to do.

If your government votes to take your hard-earned money and spend it on some ■■■■■■■■■ you really care what said government was wearing when it was doing that ?

Oh please, spare me the sacred halls shtick.

Your people stormed the building, pooped on the floor, beat up cops, broke windows, etc, and you all pretend it was just another Tuesday.

No, but apparently the lack of a suit is.

Yes, I do care. If clothes don’t affect their ability to legislate, the least they can do is look like they give a ■■■■ and aren’t on their way to taking one in the lobby of a holiday inn.

It’s about respecting your own office. And knowing when to act like a ■■■■■■■ grown up person.

it’s not my “schtick” standards are standards. :man_shrugging:. talk to dicky durbin

those weren’t “my” people. but racist uncle fester is yours i guess that’s why the outburst here

“we” do? where?

why are you comparing violent protesters (like your people who you approve of in 2020) to a dress code?

Welp, I don’t. Reasons - I never even have to look at them and it doesn’t affect my life one iota. :smirk:

Trust me, I understand the sentiment. The government is pretty much broken so why does it matter what they wear….it’s not an unreasonable position.

I’m just cranky about the suits I guess.

should he be exempted from criticism?

Even if it’s not broken, same exact net effect.

That said, if I were a Senator, I’d dress up nicely - as it is, I’d love to upgrade my formal wardrobe but I never get to wear it aside from an occasional wedding invite or something, so I’d welcome any opportunity to don a suit.

I just don’t give a ■■■■ whether anyone else does.

Well apparently you can even put gold bars in your suits so why not spruce it up you know?

You can wear it any time you choose to.

Coke in the White House; Bare boobs exposed on the White House lawn; Biden official Sam Brinton modeling clothing stolen from a designer from an airport.

I can see why shorts and a hoodie is fine with yuns critprogs in the Senate.
