Sooo…about that $34 trillion debt… I was able to tolerate it being in the $7-16 trillion range. What to do, what to do.

I’m thinking a ban on deficit spending & borrowing, cutting spending, and raising taxes would be the solution.
If we were to completely zero out all discretionary spending, including all defense spending, we would still be running in the red at current revenue levels.
Cut defense in half.

Since there is no enumerated power for many mandated programs it’s easy … screw everyone needing the funds. Period.
They might be crashing the system to force the world into digital currency.

Looks like that can was finally kicked down the road for good. All that can be done at this point is to hope all those people who said debt doesn’t mean anything were correct.
It can’t be fixed at this point. Best thing to do is smoke a cigarette, drink a beer, and ride this puppy into bankruptcy.

Food stamps for the absolute needy is just plain compassionate. The scammers and illegals getting food stamps needs to end. Public Radio? Waste of the taxpayers money in my opinion.

I don’t know, maybe let Trump into the WH and put everyone to work to pay of the Debt.
If not the working man and woman who made NO profit in creating this debt will end up holding the bag pay for it for decades to come.
The rich have their money secured/protected, the poor have nothing you can take from them and the working middle class will be left to take chestnuts outta fire and pay for it.
And America as we know it wont be no more.
Just another place on Earth that squandered it’s riches.
