Pawn shops typically thrive in tough times by providing cash to people who either need to sell their belongings or to borrow money against items of value they own like jewelry, electronics and power tools.

The irony is that many pawn shops are having financial difficulties of their own right now because there aren’t nearly as many customers who need to raise money selling or pawning items — the opposite of what most would expect when a record number of people are unemployed.

It’s a baffling turn of events that affects not only pawn shops in the Pittsburgh region, but many across the country.

Well the pawn shop index completely negates the tens of thousands out of work and the federal assistance to get them through this idiocy gone.

Sure run with that. Tell that to the people in this country who are suffering. You can believe all the lies that Trump says daily but the people who are suffering economically cannot 32% of Americans cannot pay their housing costs in the month of July. The amount of foreclosures coming I’ll make the foreclosures in the great recession look like a drop in the bucket.

At some point the economy might return but the 170,000 dead Americans will not. The people who’ve been evicted and. the people who’ve lost their house will not.

Ummm …maybe you should not assume. What did mayors and city councils in Seattle and Portland a d Chicago and Minneapolis and New York do to stop the violence…

Oh yeah the called for defunding law enforcement in the face of domestic terrorism. Innocent people in Portland were almost beaten to death over the weekend. Thousands of businesses and livelihoods have been destroyed. People were murdered…dozens of them.

By the way I notice you mentioned the Senate and ignored San Fran Nan’s House…they decided to do some work over a lie about the post office.

Democrats have no legs to stand on in their disgusting reaction to all the violence the last three months in America.
