of course not, that would be silly, he DOES however speak for the VFW organization…that is what they elected him to do.

i am happy to hear your husband has no problem at all at the flippant remarks, or assine comment made by the GOP nominee

Not surprised that the trump cult would have no prowith him dissing vets. They will excuse anything he says or does.

My husband is part of the VFW organization, and he does not speak for my husband. He speaks for himself. Never even dropped a email to my husband to ask what he thought.
My husband wants to know when did you serve? Because he remembers the democrats calling him a baby killer.

Look at the democrats who called my husband a baby killer trying to use vets for political gain.

No one is doing that but Trump is the one who said Trump who wants to be President and CINC did bizarrely say the Medal of Freedom is a higher honor than the Medal of Honor. Its valid to discuss why Trump would say that.

I suspect if Trump was just another anonymous poster on here and made that comment he would be vilified as a liberal who hates the military.

The democrats most certainly did just that. Kerry was one of the leaders calling Vietnam vets baby killers as he ran for election.

I doubt very much Kerry called anyone baby killers during his failed election bid.

Interesting how you want to deflect this away from Trumps comments.

You do know that kerry had to run to get elected to the senate. This is what happens when foreigners try to talk United State politics. They have no idea what the people and the party they support have done in the past.
All I am doing is showing your and the democrats hypocrisy. The democrats have no high ground after what they have done and said in the past about veterans.
Trump is a citizen and is free to say whatever he pleases. You just seem butt hurt that there are a lot of vets that see through the democrats spin and can determine for themselves what trump said and meant.
You must support walzs plan for the fed to determine what is legal and what is not legal for people to say and believe.

The comments you are misrepresenting? No need to deflect from them at all.

Trump did not say the MoF was “higher” than the MoH. He said it was better and then equated why to the shape MoH winners are in. His statements in context say its better to receive the MoF than the MoH because MoH winners are in pretty bad shape.

If you were to receive one, would you consider it better to receive the MoH and be dead, or to receive the MoF and be alive?

It was dumb to equate the two at all, but he did not say and was not saying the MoF is “higher” than the MoH. He said basically, it was better for the recipient.

Yes you are right, i used the wrong word. His exacts words were

it’s actually much better, because everyone gets the Congressional Medal of Honor, they’re soldiers. They’re either in very bad shape because they’ve been hit so many times by bullets, or they’re dead. She gets it and she’s healthy, beautiful woman."

Ridiculous thing for him to say and cons criticize Harris for word salads?

Well good job I am not a foreigner, lived, worked here and paid taxes for over 20 years.

And no Kerry never called Vietnam veterans baby killers. This is From his 1971 testimony.

“They told the stories at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war, and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country.”

Kerry was testifying in his position as the spokesman for Vietnam Veterans Against the War. He was relating what other veterans had told the Winter Soldier investigation which the VVAW him commissioned several months prior.

This 2004 article has Kerry talking about his testimony and its an interesting insight.

There is no word salad there, it was easily understood. You failed to because your TDS so much wants it to be what you hope it is… but its not.

Sure mate, keep telling yourself that.

For someone who declares himself not a trump supporter you certainly perform olympic class mental gymnastics for the man :grinning::grinning::grinning:

there you go with the lies again.

I was a Haley and/or Scott supporter in the primaries. I am a Trump supporter in the General. I do not profess to “not be a Trump supporter”.

That explains all the stretches you make for the man.

I didn’t stretch anything. He said it plainly

Are you calling my husband a liar? He lived it. You have no idea just what sick people you are voting for. It’s either that or you only care about vets if it can gain the democrats more power. Any other time the vets are demons who need to be jailed.

Did I mention your husband? And no there is nothing that I can find that backs up your statement that Kerry called Vietnam veterans baby killers.

Unless of course your claiming your husband actually heard Kerry say that.

Considering the DNC loves them some baby killin’ it would be an odd thing for him to complain about.
