The Democrats are After the Middle Class for Higher Taxes, not the Rich

This government has already made life harder for every American with Biden’s stupid inflation…

I m all for the irs shrinking significantly…simplify the tax code…that’s a whole nother thread.

The more this idiot socialist left pushes more and more trillion dollar plus spending the more they will need more and more people working for the government’s personal collection agency.

Enough…

Exactly…the only thing this gets us all is more it’s nitpicking about all the ways we didn’t pay our taxes. In order to enforce that after this horse ■■■■ becomes law you wanna bet wait times on the phone are just as long and in a couple of years they’ll need another 100 million to hire even more government thugs.

So they are going after the middle class because Dems want to add more IRS agents?

Is that it?

I am still waiting for my taxes to be fully processed and I am not alone, they are understaffed

Actually, I know (or at least I think I know) what Biden meant with his $400K pledge. It’s limited to changes directly made to income tax laws.

There are scads of other taxes and regulations that will hit the middle class. And increasing taxes on corporations will flow downhill to the consumer. But that’s not what he was referring to.

Changes to income tax law hit us all. It just won’t show on our individual 1040s.

That bottom 50 percent will not be happy!

My Dad, a very smart fellow, always said that everyone should should pay something.

If 50 percent of the country pay nothing in federal income taxes they are more and more apt to advocate more and more of the money of others to pay for their “freebies”.

Pelosi lost her vote today.

The octagenerian nightmare thinks cancelling a vote is different.

It isn’t…she lost.

Just need a few thousand more Lois Lerners to set the agenda for targeted tax collection.

I don’t evade taxes and see the irs staffing problems so this sounds like a pretty good idea to me.

Someone has been interpreting internet memes as tax policy.

The solution to bad government is more government.

Somebody isn’t reading what in the proposed bill so I suggest instead of being condescending that maybe you figure out how to read it. Don’t know about you but the government has no damn business knowing what I spend my money on and expecting my financial institution to send in particulars to them is ■■■■■■■■■

The stuff some people are willing to allow the government to control in their lives is outstanding. What the ■■■■ is your line in the sand?

Thank you…

Beautifully said.

The more power they aren’t entitled to that the nut job socialists try to grab the more people will hopefully rise up and tell them to screw themselves.

The solution to bad government is better government, and sometimes that means more IRS agents.

My wife and Inhad zero issues with the Fed this year. Not sure what is involved with your taxes but ours are pretty simple.

You think the govt needs to know when you buy a new refrigerator and who from? Or anything else for that matter?

Some people wouldn’t know freedom if it bit them in the ass. Reporting your purchases and expenditures to the govt?

p.s. This isn’t it.

No, government needs to make sure tax laws are applied fairly and properly to all.

Do you have a problem with that?

The solution to bad government is never more irs agents.

Why would you think that?

This proposal has nothing to do with that.
