DC is a Federal city. And yes, military (NG) “police” can be mobilized to restore safety and security to the District of Columbia. DC is not a state ( thankfully) and no partisan Goobernor is needed to mobilize troops to quell violence. You sound quite familiar with the crime in DC. Pray tell, what are the numbers of juvenile violent crimes that are not being prosecuted as they should. You are also aware the DC crime lab has been inoperable since 2021 so evidence not processed gets cases tossed?
