it isnât like they told Shakespeare to write anythingâŚ
but yeah, I think the drachma/euro exchange rate leaves something to be desired
Also, the properly applied is a function of the home, which too has become mostly disfunctional.

It depends on what you mean by practical. Should we go directly from ABCâs to instructional manuals for equipment?

Character doesnât put potatoes on the table.

Yes. No need for Shakespeare in schools.

Oh but it does. And keeps them there.

So you want school to teach character but not values. I am confused.

You donât teach character, you build it through exposure to adversity.

I am not sure that adversity always has to be faced to bulld character, many people have good characters but have not faced any real adversity. Though I get adversity can be subjective.

Learning to deal with lesser adversity is how the ability to deal with the greater adversities of life is developed. It is the failure to learn to overcome adversity that shows flaws in oneâs character.

You misspelled âimmortal.â
Which means you used the wrong verb tense too ⌠âisâ

As a King James Bible guy myself i had no trouble with the language.
I just didnât care for Shakespeare. I had trouble getting interested in his writings.
I studied it enough to pass the tests but thatâs about it.
I loved reading and read constantly (a wide variety at that) during my school years. Just not Shakespeare.

And nothing wrong with not liking Shakespeare but you did the work that was required and took an opportunity to expand your mind and outlook.
Crit factory⌠like University of Michigan?
Having recently embarked on a new five-year DEI plan, UM is paying more than $30 million to 241 DEI staffers this academic year alone
Thatâs fraud, waste, and abuse.
â â â do they need 240 DEI staff for? Iâd be furious if I was paying tuition for a kid to go there.

From the link:
âAccording to the universityâs Black Student Union, â85 million dollars was spent on DEI efforts and yet, Black studentsâ experience on campus has hardly improved.â"
What does that even mean?
