The cost of the open border

So what does it cost to invite the entire impoverished world into a country and provide them all with free healthcare, free housing, free education, free meals, free cell phones, etc?

“The numbers coming across are already being felt across the nation in your schools, health care system, crime, every sector of the American economy and our social fabric,” “Overrun” author Todd Bensman said on “Mornings with Maria” Monday. “Whether the president wants to admit it or not, Americans are going to feel this in the pocketbook for a long, long time, probably permanently.”

Officials at the southern border are reportedly seeing massive migrant numbers at the southern border, along with a number of large groups, ahead of the expected end of the ability to expel migrants under the Title 42 public health order in a few weeks.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) sources told Fox News that migrant numbers for FY 2023, which began in October, are at over 485,000 and are expected to hit the half a million mark this weekend. So far, 156,000 have been expelled under Title 42.

“The intelligence community is saying that when they drop Title 42 on December 21st, assuming that happens, that we’ll be looking at anywhere from 12,000 to 18,000 [crossings] a day,” Bensman told host Maria Bartiromo. “That’s just an absolute Category 5 hurricane we’ve never experienced before in the United States.”

Bensman continued that a “new army” will soon be needed to address migrant “gotaways” and related crimes. Thus far, the number of illegal immigrants who have crossed the border under President Biden’s watch is estimated to cost the U.S. taxpayer more than $20 billion each year, according to the Federation for American Immigration Reform.

Factor in birthrates and we could be looking at a 1 trillion dollar yearly cost in about 5 years! We’re going to have to keep those printing presses going into overdrive!

The trillion thingy can be debated but remember…that’s 1,000 billion…and “we” are already 31.5 trillion in debt. What the ■■■■ people. How can anyone condone this? PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS but no one has the right to do this with taxpayer dollars. Those that will have to pay it haven’t even been born yet. Does taxation without representation still mean anything today?

It’s hard to absolutely quantify the cost of the open border, but you can estimate as follows: EVERYONE who gets across the border will be entitled to free healthcare. So right now that could be about 5 million people. If on average we spend about $5,000 per person that’s 25 billion dollars! Housing would be provided for EVERYONE they are letting in with an asylum claim whether valid or not and for every child as well. Not sure how long they are provided free housing but if 2 million people are being provided free housing for a year at a cost of $1,500/month, that would run 36 billion dollars! Every 1 million children could run about 20 billion dollars to provide education. The amount of children could rise exponentially as women from these regions tend to have 3-5 children each! So imagine over the next ten years at this pace an additional 7 million women having on average 3 kids each that’s over 20 million additional peoples who will be nothing but an economic burden on the US taxpayers! Providing everything for 20 million impoverished children could run easily over 700 billion dollars!

Here’s some more good news:

At a pace of 18,000/day for a year would put that at a number of over 6 million per year! If we were to keep such a pace for 10 years including birth rates, well kiss America goodbye!!

More good news. Migrants released into country didn’t get processed or receive charging paperwork to be tracked. Just released and told to go get paperwork when they got settled. Surprise surprise they are not show up. Anouther Lib talking point shot down. But “We know where they are and they have a notice to appear”

It is cool though that even with the nation suffering right now from COVID and ultra high levels of the flu, these illegal aliens are not bringing any diseases with them…especially like the ones the US got rid of decades ago. It’s true…ask Mayorkas. The border is all under his evil control.

I am loathe to be negative right before Christmas…so true though.

On a brighter note…

Hey look they are all amazing people, they are all going to get good paying jobs, and they are not in any way a burden on the US taxpayer! Just ask any lib.

We’ve been told many times that an increase in population will be good for the economy and raise the GDP. That is why everyone would rather live in India than Australia.

Those on the Left cry about how we need to look at Denmark and Norway on how they do things. Okay let’s look at how those countries run their immigration systems then.

Democrats push this nonsense that flooding the nation with poverty will generate prosperity for the nation. Let’s be clear that they are the only people in the world that believe such nonsense:

“Crime has increased dramatically as a result, and of course, many, many of our children are dying from fentanyl doses because the border’s wide open,” Paxton said. “So it’s having a dramatic impact on my state. I know that this is not staying in Texas. This is going to impact the entire country for not just years, I think decades to come.”
