What is your point?. That person is no longer eligible to hold office? Is that your point? Or is it that anyone who would vote for such a person automatically forfeits all of their values?
You Trump haters are unbelievable.
Pointing out the hypocrisy of claiming to be in favor of family values, yet voting for someone who pretty much makes a mockery of said values by their lifestyle. Actions speak louder than words.

So anyone who voted for Trump is immoral? I’m guessing you believe they are also racists? And bigots? And they don’t love their country? And they aren’t real Christians? And they are misogynists?
Kind of like that basket of Deplorables, Hillary was talking about.

What an incredible imagination. I typed exactly what I meant, and claim no liability for whatever else you may have read into it. Although, I’ll give you one thing - I wish I had that good of an imagination.

As a man of faith (albeit a weak one), it is my obligation to see no difference in the quality of human because of their political leaning.
If this thread is about party leadership? Been following politics for six decades. The leadership of both parties behaves pretty much the same depending on whether they’re in power or out. To assume they don’t is to be a fan, not an impartial observer.

How have I denigrated or attacked Trump voters in this thread? I simply pointed out that I wouldn’t take their claim as the party of family values seriously any longer after they supported a man who didn’t share those values. That’s politics. On the other hand, you’ve repeatedly posted personal attacks against me, saying I’ve gone off the deep end, etc. If you’re looking for denigration check the mirror.

No I did not. I did not ask your opinion of me. I have already heard it 1000 times. We get it. You are a broken record.

I wouldn’t say they are immoral. But it is strange that these people say that they place a high value on family values, honesty, integrity, and marriage.
Yet they turn around and vote for Trump and support him quite vociferously.
Please explain this apparent contradiction in what they say is important to them.
There is no contradiction. I’ve explained it more times than I care to count. I vote solely on the issues. Emotion plays no part in my decision.
You spend too much time judging people. Maybe you should work on correcting your own flaws rather than spending so much energy judging others?

Ok.
Methinks your decidedly narrow minded blanket political presumptions regards Republican vs Democrat difference evidences a grossly simplistic naivety on your part.
Is that better?

Me thinks that you are desperate to try to get me to care what your opinion of me is.
Is that better?

So says the OP whose whole thread premise is 100% BASED UPON THEIR PARTICULAR JUDGEMENT OF TENS OF MILLIONS IF NOT HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS.

As if “straw men” arguments are endemic of any one side of the political spectrum.

Absolutely.
It isn’t true, but it is better.

That explains you. What about your fellow conservatives who publicly proclaim what is important to them yet vote against what is important to them?
