If the CDC had a solid message and quit trying to tough talk the vaccine it would not matter what a shock jock had to say…even if it was accurate.
People would get the vaccine and then listen to Rogan and laugh.
His show is pretty good.
The CDC messaging is what is not at all good.

Any concern about delta for me went away when the UK and India outbreaks went past peak with notably less severe outcomes.

Logically we should not even be seeing this many cases with so many vaccinated and antibody filled people.
Cases are such a horrible metric.
Imagine reporting flu cases.
Nothing like the flu covid is getting compared more to the flu now than ever before.
The Lung Pow is still over 3 times less lethal in the US than the 1918 Flu was.
In fact, it will end up a lesser flu, as predicted last year.

COVID appears to have a seasonal peak. It is likely that the Northeast and Midwest will probably not see their peaks until they get cooler and drier fall weather.
On the other hand, Florida may already be near its peak since people since the hot summer weather keeps most people inside air-conditioned buildings, which favors the spread for now.
The fallacy is to assume that government actions are the drivers for the COVID numbers.
