The better party and my allegiance to the dems

Missouri has a new party, the Better Party.

too bad other states dont have forward thinkers like this gentleman.

hell if i lived in Missouri id vote the Better Party in a heartbeat.

the anger against both major parties is electric.

i am considering leaving the democratic Party (last time was 1980) and in 1984 we nominated Mondale and havent looked back since.

now its again time to reevaluate my allegience.

terrible candidates for POTUS have a tendendcy to turn me off.

i voted uncommitted in the recent primary.

i am NOT a happy camper. we should be wiping the floor with the convicted felon, instead its a tight race.

Libs, your state sucks enough balls as it is. No need to come down here and ruin all the nice things.

But then you’d have to actually live in mizzery. No political party could force me to live in that trash state

It’s what they do. Leftists are like locusts.

They destroy everything where they are, move somewhere where it is better, then instantly try to instill the exact same policies they ran from.

Flipping morons.

“Hey let’s take a nice vacation to Missouri” said no one ever.

California is huge… you can avoid homeless very very very easily and still hit nice beaches, nice ski resorts… off roads and enjoy nice weather will doing it.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaamn…you finally said something I agree with. My compliments. :sunglasses: :tumbler_glass:

I guess you never heard of vacationing in the Ozarks. And the pretty parts of California can only make up for the rot so long, your native born residents don’t even want to stay there.

The Ozarks?

While I’m sure it a nice place for the people who live around that state to go… one can get a better version of that in Tahoe.

Save it, you took a shot at another state from the typical California ego position. The fact is the rest of the country doesn’t view California as the land of sun shine and honey anymore, and could care less what lib Californians think of the rest of the country.

I am marveled at how the article linked in the OP doesn’t say a single word about any policy positions of the party they write about.

American Promise

American Promise has a simple and powerful goal: passage of the For Our Freedom constitutional amendment to restore reasonable limits on money in our campaigns and elections.

So it sounds like they may not have a central policy but rather are a vehicle to facilitate independent candidate ballot access.

Eh. I’ve been to California several times and love it. Really beautiful. I love Wisconsin though and will never leave, otherwise California would be a top contender for me.

So, some of us actually do see California as the land of sunshine and honey.

California today is like a really pretty girl with a very ugly personality. Sure she looks good, but you just can’t stand to be around her.

I would say every state, at least the ones I’ve been too, have good and ugly parts.

Like I say about my own state. Come here to MS for the awesome food, stay because you got murdered. Our food is great but we have one of the highest murder rates in the country. I accept it. It’s part of what makes it home is the chance of someone ripping you out of your car and beating you to death with a tire iron.

I will say that all the states I’ve been too have fit their stereotypes pretty well. Like Kentucky. The meth really does grow on trees there. And New Jersey was a bit of a dump. I was only there for a short amount of time to take a bus ride into New York, but it just felt kind of like a dump that had seen better days. And Florida is full of nutcases methed out of their minds and wrestling alligators.
