President Trump unloaded on New York Governor Andrew Cuomo Friday morning, asking how the liberal leader can “survive” after he said the United States of America was “never great.”
The Commander-in-Chief ripped Cuomo on social media days after the Governor said America “was never that great” during a speaking event; citing inequality for women and minorities across the country.
“How does a politician, Cuomo, known for pushing people and businesses out of his state, not to mention having the highest taxes in the U.S., survive making the statement, WE’RE NOT GOING TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, IT WAS NEVER THAT GREAT? Which section of the sentence is worse?” asked Trump.
Cuomo’s office issued a clarification on his remarks Thursday, saying the Governor believes America “is great” but still struggles with discrimination and inequality.
This one is pretty much a slam dunk isn’t it ghost writer for Sean? And yet…the cuckoo house contingent on here finds a way to dismiss his video’ed disgrace or to fully agree with his infernal governance.
Nonsense. Even Stephen Colbert, who hates all things Trump, went after Cuomo:
“That is the dumbest thing you could say as a politician,” Colbert reacted. “That’s like closing your speech with, ‘Apple pie sucks, I’m lukewarm on the troops, and those stripes make the American flag look fat! Thank you, I hate my mother!’”
