The New York State Health Department shut down a child’s lemonade stand this week, forcing the seven-year-old to close his shop after multiple complaints from a nearby county fair.
Really a permit for a lemonade stand.Has our local officials that stupid.And to those that complained your pathetic.That lemonade stand will return,in fact many around the nation should put up stands all over America just in protest.And protest is an American right.Nothing permit about that.
We don’t have to wonder if the government is developing mindless robots to wage war. Obviously, they have!! For NY, I am not surprised.
I’m surprised we haven’t heard of any protesters with signs protesting the vendors at that fair.

The parents should have checked into what if anything might be required to dispense consumables from their front porch, by a 7 year old kid or not.
Fox News has showcased these lemonade stand shut down stories since about as long as they have been on the air.
I know, I watched them religiously from their first day on the air in October of 1996 until I got rid of cable in February of 2011.

They admit it themselves “We are working to better understand the situation but in the meantime want to assure the community that DOH does not issue permits for or oversee lemonade stands”. Yet the family is suppose to get a permit to sell lemonade? Hypocrisy at it’s finest.
