I think we can agree that looking back, from a political standpoint, the attempt to use lawfare on Trump and his strongest supporters (the ones who pulled off stuff like Jan 6th) was fundamentally flawed. They should have taken my advice and went for a Truth and Reconciliation method instead. No punishment, we just want an explanation for the historical record.
Instead they went full force into attempting to throw the book at them. And that backfired, badly. It created sympathy. Good job guys. The plan went great.
that is not what he was doing. he wanted Pence to delay the certification and get state legislatures to look into it and send alternate slates of electors.
“The alternate slate of electors” were fraudulent. None of them were actual electors nor were they associated with the states they were trying to steal.
Guilty of forgivable things that were arguably political. Which is why I pushed for a Truth and Reconciliation type of thing for Jan 6th. No charges brought in exchange for full testimony. To go on the record.
They did that in South Africa with Apartheid. South Korea did it with their complicated political past in the 2000s. It creates healing instead of division.
dont think you heard the last of this bs “trump sent fake electors” narrative. they are preparing to revive it. that’s why the poster is building that up again
It’s a pointless argument. Trump’s reelection means there will be no criminal prosecution, and the issue will be left to internet keyboard warriors to argue about for generations to come.
they are preparing for Jack Smiths hit piece disguised as a report that they will wave around hoping to get the house in 2026 so they can go on a new impeachment bonanza
