The 2022 NFL Season Thread

The 2022 NFL season kicks off tonight with the defending Super Bowl champs Los Angeles Rams hosting the Buffalo Bills.

Questions for the upcoming season:
Will the Rams repeat?
I doubt it.

Will there still be some magic left for Tom Brady?
With no Gronk and injuries on the Bucs offensive line, he’s going to need a lot of magic to just make the playoffs.

Which team will be the most improved?
NFC: Saints
AFC: Jets (of course)

Which teams will make the playoffs?
NFC: Cowboys, Bucs, Saints, Rams, Packers, Saints, 49ers
AFC: Bills, Ravens, Chiefs, Titans, Bengals, Chargers, Colts

Who will be in the Super Bowl?
Bills over Packers

Rams sold out for their one win.

No question about that.

Just for ■■■■■ and giggles, I’m going to predict a Bucs Colts Super Bowl

I have no ■■■■■■■ clue as to anything in the NFL.

I will just watch the games.

I just gave up on any manner of predictions.

Well, perhaps one small prediction.

The Cowboys will underachieve.

As usual.

I’d put the Broncos in an AFC wild card spot. A steady QB is something they’ve been missing for a long time.

But when you get to the wild card spots, lots of things can happen. Not much point in debating something that low in the playoff picture so early in the season.

I’m old enough to remember when the Bills could beat any and everyone except for the Cowboys. lol

I am old enough to remember Mike Ditka playing for the Cowboys.

I’m not old enough to have any idea who that is.

I haven’t watched the NFL “kneelers” in 3 years now and I won’t again. They are dead to me.

I’m much better off .

The Cowboys don’t underachieve, they’re over hyped.

It’s hard to repeat in the NFL, but the Rams will be in the mix.

Gronk is not the reason Brady wins. The Patriots won a SB in 2016 without Gronk. Besides, making the playoff in the NFL is no longer difficult.

My bold predictions.

The Steelers will win the Division.
The Vikings will win the division.
The Jets will be in last place.

Now take a guess. Which one of those is NOT a bold prediction.

What the hell, Ditka played for the boys ? Never knew that, I thought he was a life long Bear

dak prescott is an all pro qb, dontchaknow.

Allan

also played for the eagles.

Dak has actually never been an all pro. But I’m assuming your post was sarcasm.

I’ve been a Cowboys fan since forever. I don’t know what caused Jerry Jones to change his ways, but he no longer prioritizes winning championships. At one point in time he would do anything to try to win. Made some good moves, made a lot of bad one’s too. But the effort was there.

All of that is gone now. It happened sometime around 2014. Now he’s just happy with keeping the team relevant. He measures success by team market value. And I’m not just saying this as a disgruntled fan. He’s actually doing this.

you talk to just about any cowboy fan and dak is a football god.

hes above average, thats all.

he in the top half of all NFL, which is good, not great

Allan

I’ve been a Cowboys fan since forever. Dak is an average to slightly above average QB. I agree. He’s better when he has great talent around him.

Dallas did not disappoint me.

I saw a big bunch of nothing out of them even before Dak got injured.

There will be even less than that now.

They can start thinking about their draft position now.
