Whose posts are you reading? Because it’s not mine.
We still have a few posters here who insists masks don’t work. One from Texas even. How’s he going to handle this order?

IIRC there are places in New England an Arizonan cannot currently travel to without having to voluntarily quarantine for two weeks after arrival. Wonder if Texans and Floridians have already been added to that.
The CDC disagrees. Why specifically do you feel they are wrong?
In all seriousness they need to be if they haven’t already been. This is good policy for all states.

In many cases if a Texan leaves the state right now they are looking at 28 days of quarantine.

I think the federal government should send the military into Texas to strongly deal with these heinous law breakers who refuse to wear masks. The federal government has the absolute authority to do so, according to the law and order president himself, Donald Trump.
Edit, oh and sarcasm, not POEing.

Do you know the acronym for that?

There have been localized mask orders in effect for a long time in certain hot spots…like where I am in Dallas for example.
Though you certainly wouldn’t get that information from most national news reports on the subject.

For what strain and in what year?
Even if they don’t prevent the spread of droplets, they do remind people about social distance. And if you read the packaging on the non-medical face coverings, they don’t claim to prevent disease or to filter air, the purpose of such masks (according to the manufacturers packaging) is to prevent people from touching their faces.

And Trump was wrong about sending in military if not requested by the state itself when it came to riots. And those who thought he had some sort of national mask police force he could use to enforce mask decisions which properly belong to the states were as wrong as he was.
Credit given for admitting Trump was wrong about something. And no sarcasm.
