Nope, he lost power and water at his house and he and the wife decided to go to Cancun for the rest of the week. The daughter excuse was just that. An excuse. The wife even invited other friends to come along so they could have a good time together. Apparently they got a good rate at the Ritz Carlton in Cancun that the friends could use as well.
