Texas county GOP moves to remove leader for being Muslim

Yes, extremists on that issue…Now, as far as extremists in the Democrat party:

“According to a Gallup poll published Monday, a majority of Democrats no longer hold a positive view of capitalism, while nearly 60 percent of them feel good about socialism. More than 70 percent of Republicans, on the other hand, see capitalism positively, while only 16 percent of them have a positive view of socialism.”

Seems like a pretty balanced view that fits quite well with the fact that we have a mixed market economy. Doesn’t surprise me that more liberally minded people would have a nuanced view on the issue.

There’s no nuanced view. They want to rely on the government to take care of everything.
That is socialism.

No, what they want are reasonable policies like universal healthcare that empirically produce similar or better results at a fraction of the cost. They want strong social safety nets that have significant economic benefits such as publicly funded higher education, childcare, etc. You see, you don’t get to label any amount of increased government involvement as “socialism” and then get to paint those who basically adopt that meaning with supporting the full-on public ownership of the means of production.

They’re not like the rest of the South.

Look! Over there! >>>> in a story about Texas Republicans! >>>> Isn’t that a Democrat?!?

That’s what they want you to believe.

I didn’t label anything. The Gallup poll labeled “socialism” and extremist Democrats, the majority of Democrats, said it was good.
