Teacher death threats for their costumers

Teachers wear the same costume they wore last year - a joke about solving math problems.

A TPUSA person assumes it was a tasteless Kirk joke costume.

Death threats follow.

After being shown the costumes were worn the year before, TP refuses to believe they all were innocent of mocking the murder.

“These shirts were worn both this and last year as part of math-themed Halloween costumes and were not intended as a reference to any person, event, or political issue,” Vail School District Superintendent John Carruth said in a statement, via Tucson.com.
As misdirected anger escalated over the weekend, the eight teachers seen in the costumes, as well as their family members, received hundreds of threats by email and phone. One threat, seen by The Washington Post, said: “Your teachers need to be school shooting victims.”
In a statement, president of the Arizona Education Association, Marisol Garcia, lashed out at the “bad-faith actors [who] mobilized an online mob” against the math teachers.
“We are horrified by the barrage of death threats that followed, and we urge law enforcement to fully investigate all threats and protect the Vail community,” Garcia said, via 13 News.

Kolvet later admitted his mistake and posted on X that the teachers did indeed wear the bloody “problem solved” T-shirts last year before Kirk was killed.
“That being said, it’s a very weird costume for teachers in general, but after what happened to Charlie, I’m absolutely floored they wore it again,” he posted. “I do not believe for a second that all of them are innocent.”

Maga death threats, ya say?

How did those teachers know Kirk was going to be murdered a year before it happened?

Witches.

Exactly.

This guy knows the truth:

Only one thing to do, dunk them in the river. If they float they’re witches, if the drown they’re not.

Thats actually a pretty funny t-shirt for a math teacher to wear at Halloween, to be honest.

When I was a landlord, I had a clause in the lease to make clear that just because I might have allowed some violation to ride in the past, I was not obligated to let it ride the next time.

The shirts were bad taste last year too. Dark humor, yes. But not appropriate for schools.

New events since then made it even worse this year.

“But they did it last year too…”

Just another example of the degradation of our culture’s values.

By this logic anyone wearing anything for halloween that depicted a murdered person or a person who murders would be bad taste.

How long do we wear sackcloth and ashes for Saint Charlie?

We all have our opinions.

It’s school. Maybe in my opinion, the celebration of murder is in bad taste.

Others will disagree. (Some will disagree because a conservative said it.)

I’ll repeat:

Fair enough - IMHO its a great reason for school uniform in public schools. I had it in England and removed all these issues plus we did not have the whole halloween dressing up thing.

right? wait. not so now?

from candidates running for positions in govt?

oh no! we look stupid. again!

Did the shirts have red die pattern on the left side from the neck down in the previous years. Kirk was hit in the left side of the neck when he was killed. If the red stain was added this year it looks bad, if it wasn’t no foul on the teacher’s part.

Thats a fair take.

Reading the article, it was a celebration of zombie murders - ie: slaying math problems like slaying zombies.

They were exactly the same shirts the previous year.

I haven’t seen this particular incident, but this stuff isn’t coming from nowhere. People acting like complete. Idiots mocking a man’s murder. Lucy Martinez, a Chicago public school (Special ed teacher pointing gun to her neck) makes gesture of being shot in neck to a person with a Charlie Kirk sign.

Last I heard she’s still teaching special ed at the taxpayers expense. Sounds like she should be enrolled in the class

Trust, but verify.

Do you have a picture of the previous year’s use?
