Senator Kamala Harris raised eyebrows on social media this week just hours before Wednesday’s Democratic debate; bizarrely bragging she has never made a single penny in the private sector.
“Easy. $0. For my entire career, I’ve only had one client: The People,” posted Harris on Twitter, responding to an NBC article on Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s work experience.

“Hours ahead of today’s Dem debate, Mayor Pete Buttigieg is releasing more tax returns from his time working at McKinsey & Co. and encouraging his opponents to disclose income from their time working in the private sector as well,” posted a reporter with NBC News.
