Viral loads of breakthrough Delta variant infection cases were 251 times higher than those of cases infected with old strains detected between March-April 2020

Meaning that the viral load of Delta is way higher than the viral load of the Alpha strain.

Some estimates had the vax/immunity rate at about 95%.

Additionally, those who get vaxxed are also more likely to report when they get sick, leading to under-reporting amongst the unvaxxed.

Taken together, these show the vaccination was incredibly effective,

News flash…as more people get vaccinated in a population, the percentage of new cases (because no vaccine is 100% effective) from that population of people who are vaccinated goes UP.

But the overall number of cases goes DOWN.

If you do not know anything about the statistics of a general population from which a sample came, the statistics of the sample tell you nothing.

You have 100 people. 95 are vaccinated. 5 are not.

You have an outbreak of 20 cases.

15 people are vaccinated. 5 are not.

The vaccinated make up 75% of the cases, but…

Only 16% of the vaccinated got sick. 100% of the unvaccinated got sick.

That makes the vaccine’s effectiveness in this fictional scenario 84%.

That means in this fictional scenario, an unvaccinated person was SIX TIMES MORE LIKELY to get infected than a vaccinated person was.

And death is not the only bad outcome.

Long COVID is a thing.

CV side effects are a thing.

COVID Fog is a thing.

Hospitalizations cost money and resource, and Delta is sending all types to the hospital now (even younger people with no comorbidities).

Just being sick costs time and money.

We have vaccine mandates for things like measles and mumps.

Hardly anyone does from measles and mumps so why do we mandate it?
