For the ambassadorship to Israel. Ol Huck has been out of the news for a long time now but Trump wants him in the administration. I’m sure he will do a good job but the Palestinians probably don’t like this since his viewpoints are well known on that subject.
Maybe Trump can appoint the squad as ambassadors to Iran, Syria and Gaza. 
One of them is Palestinian so that’s not a bad idea.
I don’t think he’s bad pick…Huckabee is very humbled man.

Rubio seat will be available, DeSantis will have to fill his seat. two words comes to mind, even though he doesn’t have foreign experience.

Does it matter what ambassador’s viewpoints are ? I mean - do they get to shape policy in any way ?
They tend to make recommendations for policy to the CINC and state staff. Since they live in the country they are ambassador to for long periods they tend gain a lot of knowledge on policy ideas relative to that country.
He’s one of the biggest flakes ever to take a govt. paycheck.
