My cousin went law school in his 40’s. He was a country music writer (he wrote Country Club that Travis Tritt turned into a hit) before and Allen Jackson began his career as his demo performer. He specialized in contract law and scooped up a bunch of country musicians. Jackson was his first client. It worked out well for him.

$3,675,000 raised as of this morning. And its a full 2 years until she is up for election. By then it might be $50 million.

To put the above number into perspective. In the 2014 election cycle, Susan Collins raised 7.4 million dollars total between her campaign and PAC contributions. In other words two years out from an election, her unknown opponent has already raised nearly half the total amount Collins did in an entire cycle.
