Hormone tests?

Chromosomes to determine if the individual is XX or XY?

The question was “what is a woman” or something along those lines. The question wasn’t “what is a female”. The whole point was her answer, or lack thereof. She could have/should have asked to clarify the question “are you asking what is a female? Or, what is a woman?”.
She has been through confirmation hearings before, a clarification request should have been second nature. Yes, it was a “gotcha” question, no doubt about it, but she could have thrown it right back in asking for clarification on the question.

I like the fact that she was a public defender. She probably won’t win many decisions, but her POV will be useful.
