I mean…they are talking about mechanical propulsion powered by the wind, and not sails, but still…oh my.

That bumper sticker was on a Kia with only 17,000 miles. Think on that for a moment.

The “climate czar” is an elitist scumbag. Even his Naval record is full of ■■■■■ I wouldn’t follow that turd anywhere.

This is fine if you don’t mind several months to get one. Even Lucid and Rivian, have several month waiting period to get one

“Wind powered cargo ship”
Tonnes displaced and propulsion for navigation and control of the vessel.
Call me skeptical but good ■■■■■■■ luck.

As I said…

What does that have to do with the price of an EV?

And BTW, you’re wrong.

Don’t you have a google machine?

DO you have a link? that’s not what I see.

Car and driver calls it 27.

Oh, you were talking Hybrid…yeah, that might be right.

every site I see says MSRP starts at 25.6

LIke this:

EVs are ok if:
You need two cars so you can take the ICE on long trips
You can charge it at your residence.
You do a lot of local travel within range

I am not in that situation so I will wait until
They build more charging stations
They significantly increase the charging speed

No, they are not. Those wing sails propel the ship, they do not produce power to drive a mechanical system.

Actually “wind assist” cargo ships have been used successfully for years.

Thats the starting price of the EV Outback or rather the Solterra, as it is called.

The link was in my post.

Problem, public charging stations are garbage and usually out of order.

I was gonna post the “Even in the future nothing works!” scene from Spaceballs … but there’s an f-bomb.

So I’ll substitute this instead…

Yep. Even a little extra thrust helps with the fuel bill. My fave are kite assists.

DO you understand why some EVs are eligible for tax credits, and others aren’t? Sound like it’s up tot he selling company somehow? I don’t get it.

Anyway, I’m not going EV. Most I would do is hybrid, if the power is comparable to my outback.

See any pricing on that yet? I thought they were rolling out the OB hybrid next year.

it is?

I don’t see it.
