Maybe they should have let the DHS review the app instead of telling them no?
It might be helpful to have a President and government that understand technology so this sort of thing doesn’t happen.

Hell no. I am not sure what is going on with Guilds.
You don’t have to have a 401k to buy stock either. I used to be in a 401k and had an account on my own to buy stock not headed for the 401k as well.
Lots of folks no doubt do the same.

This is a little misleading.
While only about 14% of all companies offer a 401k, approximately 79% of all workers work for a company that offers one.
Only 32% of workers actively contribute to a 401K plan though.

A small minority does the same.
Some do not do it because they are not smart with money.
Many do not do it, because they simple do not have any extra cash to save or invest.
That is not an opinion, those are the numbers.
That’s an opinion actually. Lots of folks invest and lots have made out extremely well the last 3 years.
Now that is factual though dems don’t like it.

It’s not an opinion.
Only a bare majority of Americans invest in the stock market (either directly or indirectly), and only a very small portion of those invest enough to make a material difference.
These aren’t opinions…they’re facts.
There are a ■■■■ ton of Americans who earn just enough to get by…they do not have anything extra to invest.
And there are a lot more of those people than you think.

No, it is not.
If you used that computer you have, and did just a little bit of research…you would find out the facts.
Try it. It can be enlightening.
Just the facts here. I know it doesn’t fit talking points from the left but …oh well.

I dont think enlightenment is the goal here.

You have literally only stated anecdotal opinions thus far.
To prove your point, post some numbers. I dare you.

I truly do not understand the lack or curiosity by so many…it is mind boggling.
Curiosity involves the possibility that one’s established beliefs will be questioned or even debunked. That’s a non-starter for many.
Right, the healthy just pay premiums for insurance they don’t use. What a bargain!
Right here buddy. At least I can take a little solace that Trump can’t cause my mortgage to skyrocket along with my healthcare, food, and energy costs. That’s something I guess.

That is the construct of insurance. You pay in and are covered for a cost you otherwise would not be able to pay. If you are healthy and don’t need it? Congratulations you are healthy. I have been fortunate to enjoy pretty good health and have paid in far more than I have had returned. I am fine with it and really would rather be healthy.
The problem with government insurance is that the costs get skewed and the medical professionals short changed while care quality is less. We go from minimal negative cost pressure to no cost pressure.

Paying premiums doesn’t make one healthy, nor does having insurance. I find it morally abhorrent that these companies are in bed with those who profit off the sick and dying (hello Big Pharma) and even more abhorrent that they wrote most of the legislation behind the ACA including the “shared responsibility payment” in an attempt to force everyone to carry insurance (even those who clearly don’t need it.) Add to that that these high deductible plans you seem to be championing are costing more than paying out of pocket ever did. I used to have good insurance and paid through the nose for it. Now I no longer have the option to even get it. But hey, I’m stuck with the insurance company my employer went with and their group plan and they’re still charging me through the nose for a fraction of the coverage I used to have. Again. What a bargain!

I get it.
I am of the opinion there is no way to attain a level of satisfaction with the medical industry.
There is always more that can be done. There is always second guessing.
It is a perfect political foil because there is no end.
I am convinced that the more government control, the worse the satisfaction. That has always been the trend and will continue.

Yes you do.
Thanks. How about an IRA?
