In just a few years since I exited the GOP (2016 to be exact), they have gone from backing the blue and supporting holding criminals accountable for their behavior to calling law enforcement corrupt and trying to protect criminal behavior.

I saw some of what was coming when Trump managed his hostile takeover of the GOP, but even I had no idea how far it would go. Sad to see a once great party turn into what the GOP is today. Maybe I should have fought harder for what was right when I was in the party. Nevertheless, it looks like it is beyond redemption at this point.
