Yeah cause the Space Force isn’t literally just the Air Force Space Command broken off into a separate service. No sir. Military wasn’t dealing with it at all, even though ASAT missiles have existed for almost forty years.
and the air force came from the army in 1947 even though combat air craft had been in existence for 30 years prior…
