Trump made his argument. It lost in the courts, it lost in congress. Trump did not try to use force to take over after that. True, he continued to complain, just like Hillary when she said the election was stolen from her.

People who are willing to be open to the idea of seizing power and installing autocratic rule. I’d add that this involves bending reality and “truth” until overthrowing democracy seems reasonable. Theres more but again lets start with that.
Id say the “semi” is simply a cop out.

The term “Semi-Fascist” is the new buzz word for those wishing to call Conservatives the “N…Z” word that has become overused and not allowed in certain forums.
Otherwise, it’s the very same thing under a different name.

No but force was deployed on his behalf. And he encouraged it.

I would differentiate.
Again lets start with this. Here are your semi-fascists.
Then you have Trump voters who don’t condone overthrowing the government but believe The Big Lie. They will also defend Trump from any accusation. I’d call them MAGAs. Another term would be 5th Avers.
Then you have folks who don’t believe the Big Lie, know that most of what Trump is doing/saying is ethically wrong and mendacious but will still defend him because of brand and tribe loyalty. Those I call MAGA enablers.

That’s just the politician term…as in Pelosi saying Democrats will continue to fight for women’s reproductive rights.

If Republicans wanted to overthrow the government, you would know it by now.

Not after they have demonstrably lost.
And not by encouraging a mob…and attempt to coerce other officials into violating the law.
But I get the desperate need to believe Trump was no different from any other politician after they lost…
Maybe, but that’s not what he said.

The fake electors scheme was pretty wild.

No, he did more then complain he has continued to accuse

Don’t forget the fine work of John “Red, White, and Coup” Eastman and Willliam “If they call it martial law, we’ll say ‘Fake news!’” Olson. Both deserve to live in a toilet.
