The humanitarian and political crisis engulfing Venezuela continued this week, with major metropolitan areas rapidly running out of drinking water, fuel, and food as the nation struggles to cope with a crumbling economy.

Please don’t say that America will help them out of this crisis. They brought it on themselves by thinking Socialism is a good thing. What ever happened to “you made your bed now sleep in it” or so many of the other quotes that imply you are responsible for your own actions and shouldn’t always depend on others to bail you out? This is what the people of Venezuela wanted and accepted, let them find their own solution.
