Controversial Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez slammed the American capitalistic model Thursday evening; urging “young people” to question the “larger economic forces in their lives.”
“How on earth could young people, whose: -wages are flat -costs of living skyrocketing -experiencing increased social instability via bigotry, addiction, + violence -expected to live shorter lifespans than previous gens dare question the larger economic forces in their lives?!” tweeted Ocasio-Cortez.

Ocasio-Cortez’ comments come days after her ‘Green New Deal’ failed to secure a single “Yes” vote in the US Senate, with her Democratic colleagues voting “present” when the massive government program came to the floor.
