Mike Pompeo is scheduled to appear before congress next week. My guess is that the content and agreements made during the meeting will be the first question. How is he going to answer?
Lets keep it along the lines of what the Russians said was agreed to, an international security agreement that nobody in the US seems to know what it is.
They had the Ukraine. No country in the world would have stopped them from keeping it if they had so desired. No, there is a dispute because there are areas where Russians are in the majority and they donât want to live under the Ukraine.
There should be a better way to handle this, but there has been no indication Putin wants to re-establish the Soviet empire.
