How convenient for you.

Personality v. Policy.

Ah, you must be under the mistaken impression that I liked Obama. I didn’t. I criticized him on the old boards throughout his presidency. I thought that deal was about as bad as this one.

I guess I have to repeat myself, been tunneling for 60 years. You think we know every one of them?

Watch the BB speech, he has pictures and gives the exact locations in Syria where Iran is doing their testing.

So you were being facetious. Got it.

North Korea received…

  1. Legitimacy on the global stage by direct one-on-one meeting with POTUS
  2. China calling for UN to now remove sanctions against NK due to this meeting with POTUS
  3. Kim treated like a rock star in Singapore, further legitimizing him
  4. US to stop war drills with SK, with US President calling them provocative, just as NK calls them
  5. US President considering draw down of US troops stationed in SK
  6. Did not have to agree to any specific details on the timeline of removal of nuclear capabilities
  7. Did not have to agree to any verifiable actions
  8. Massive propaganda tool that will be used to further oppress his people
  9. Did not have to own up to any human rights violations

US received, as @wonderingrover put it…

  1. A handshake with a brutal, murdering dictator who kills his own people and has threatened to annihilate both the US and our allies

Yep, looks like winning to me.

“Hate”? Trumpists need to stop these talking points. No. I’m saying we shouldn’t party until something real happens.

thats the argument of all liberals these days! deny all plausibility they voted for hillary or obama to make it as if they were independent.

The mid-terms are looking better all the time and this negative attitude displayed by libs to EVERYTHING Trump does will surely work against them.

You devolved quickly in this thread

Yes, that is today’s talking point. Woof woof

Im not partying, im simply saying that these talks are productive. Its more than Obama could accomplish.

And think about these post summit interviews. Trump is praising Kim and saying he loves his people. That will run 24/7 on NK airwaves.

What have they produced?

This right here is exactly what I was worried about during the lead up to this meeting. The lack of preparation. The lack of Cabinet members sitting in on key NSC meetings. Making sure everyone was on the same page, so we did not look like amateur hour coming out of this meeting, catching our key principles by surprise.

How does hearing Trump praise Kim make you feel?

Be honest.

What has these talks produced?

Him denuking isnt good for his people?

Kim is legitimate.

You’re in a lather. I’ll check back in on you later.

what are the choices? handshake. Bow.

what else would you prefer?

Believe whatever you will. I voted Republican in every election, primary, and runoff since I was first eligible to vote in 1990 - until 2016. Once the Republican party and backed Trump, I parted ways with the Republican party and became and independent. In fact, at lower levels, I even voted Republican in 2016 - but not for President. I voted for Evan McMullin in 2016.

But, as I said - believe what you will.
