Weakened it by making it look like the Dem platform looked. Clearly Putin must control the Dem party.
On the other hand, should we have really set Ukraine up to be in a major war with Russia that they would have lost?
And I thought that for the last four years Russia was our friend.

Again why can’t he just pay his back taxes on what he did like the other people and it be done with? Lying is why he’s in jail honestly.
Unlikely. If they are untrue, the investigation will be dragged out with no final finding being issued. Whereas in the case of Dems and their Intel agency helpers, if accusations are true, they get dragged out with no final finding being issued.

where do you get your bad information? even including the tuition, which is questionable, the total tax bill to ny for the unreported fringe benefits is 130k over ten years.

what arms did your obamassiah send to ukraine?
It is not bad information. The amount that I referenced was the amount of compensation that was given to him in lieu of salary. And that is what he was charged with in the indictment.
And the tuition is that what is in question. It does not matter what the money was used for. The charge is that it was paid to him in lieu of salary which he didn’t pay taxes that were owed.
careful man, spinning like that gets you dizzy.
the amount you referenced was
which is nowhere near true.
Okay, I will correct:
According to the indictment, Weisselberg received indirect compensation from the Trump Organization over a number of years of about $1.76 million. The company avoided reporting the income to tax authorities and withholding taxes from it, and Weisselberg hid the income from his tax preparer and didn’t report it on his tax returns, prosecutors claim.
Is that better?
certainly… what does 10k a year mean to a guy whose benefits alone are 170K
This is what baffles me. A former secretary at Trump Org. said that there was always attention paid to making the extra buck. But it boggles me that they would do this kind of scheme with such a low dollar return.
meh… for some lessening the tax burden is a game you win or lose.

I guarantee this is all they have on Trump Org. This is pay the back taxes and move on deal, sentencing him to jail, would be overcharging at this point.
charging him criminally was a bit of a reach. has anyone in the history of the US ever been prosecuted for failing to report fringe benefits?

Or for that little amount of fringe benefits! This investigation smells of throwing whatever they have against a wall and hoping it sticks, this is prosecutorial over reach like no other. You think they are treating Hunter Biden who does the same thing this way? 3 year investigation and this is the first arrest? Are you kidding me?
These aren’t fringe benefits. His salary was deliberately offset equally to these benefits. These are vehicles to shift his salary to less traceable form for the purpose of evasion.
Your position would be tenable if these were perks in addition to his salary that the company gave him and he just neglected to report.

They could have just gave him higher salary. Or give him bonus and legally report it. But all of them are so keen on avoiding taxes and evade IRS, they settle on this. That is greed for you. Didn’t Martha stewart go to prison over insider trading that literally would have cost her only $250,000?
■■■■■■■■■ I’d vote for Romney over Biden. I voted for Trump in 2016, before it became clear he was a total con man and disgusting excuse for a person.
It’s amazing how some people are incapable of not looking at the world in a totally binary way
