Yes - that is a conclusion based on WHAT SHE DID. Not on what we THINK she did, or what we think she wouldn’t do.

She took money to send guardsman to the border. That is what we know.

I suggested the reason she did it.

You on the other hand want to believe she would have done it any way. We can not know that because it did not happen.

I was riffing on the Senator who called them tourists.

But I suppose since the Constitution didn’t spell out exactly how petitions for redress of grievances were to happen, one could say rioting and breaking into Congress to disrupt it is a power that the Constitution via the 9th Amendment stated was reserved for the states or the people.

Sending national guard to our border is a plus. If someone helps make that possible by donating funds, great. Wouldn’t it be great if people would be willing to fund all government functions by choice instead of by threat of prosecution?
Now, as to the complaint of this action having a political function as a side…if it draws attention to the willful failure of our federal government to protect our border, that’s a great side benefit.
