In K-12 you betcha. At that impressionable age, LIBs have one thing and only one thing on their mind. INDOCTRINATION of our impressionable young.
Once our young leave high school they would be in a better position to decide whether or not they want to pursue race based studies. Simply not appropriate for K-12.

By and large they adopt the values of their families no matter what they are taught at school.
But then again, most fear-based ideologues do have a woeful understanding of kids.

K-12 kids were once old enough to witness segregation and racism towards black people. Why weren’t they old enough to learn that racism is bad and here is why?
Having raised one of my own, I believe I have a good handle on this.
Even more reason to leave LIB indoctrination out of K-12.

Nope. I’m not trying to imply it didn’t exist. I’m certain minorities suffered greatly during that time period. But that was 60 years ago. Subjecting our young today to LIB indoctrination about the evils of racism is ludicrous. It is a self serving LIB agenda of indoctrination.

Kids were able to witness segregation, Jim Crow etc but 2021 kids aren’t capable to witness or learn about racism and that it is bad?
You seriously believe any of the kids I went to school with paid any attention to that stuff? We were too busy being kids.

You didn’t answer my question… if it was ok for kids to live and witness a world that was segregated and racist… like it was normal. Why can’t kids today, learn about racism and that it is bad?
Think about what you are saying. Let’s just take this forum as an example. For the most part LIBs are on the same page, making similar arguments. Not surprisingly those same arguments can be heard on LIB talk shows. Does that mean every LIB on this forum takes their marching orders from the talk show hosts? Or could it be that like minded people kind of sound the same.

Kids were being kids back in the day. They were having too much fun being kids to notice or care about what was going on around them. Today’s kids are no different in that regard. Let them be kids and stop trying to bombard them with LIB indoctrination about things they couldn’t possibly comprehend at that tender young age.
They will have their entire life ahead of them when they become young adults. Give them the choice to pursue your LIB agenda, or not, at that point in their lives.
