Mine or Nancy’s?

Yours.

Always thought it’s amazing how we end up with the choices we do. I mean I look back it was before my time but I get the appeal of Reagan and even Bush Senior and I even voted for Obama the first time, and I thought Romney was a pretty good opponent but not McCain.

This election is worse than last one imho I am not a fan of Hillary but she was pretty statesman like or state woman like, just way to much baggage and past. I think with Biden, Trump finally ran found someone as mean and nasty as he is, and don’t really know what to do about it or handle him.

It is mine boggling looking at the 2016 republican lineup and the 2020 democratic lineup how we ended up again as the show South Park said of the last election the choice between a turd sandwich or a giant ■■■■■■.

If Pelosi is playing the 25th because of the medicine he is taking for COVID, is she reducing the willingness of the infected to take potentially life-saving drugs?

Seems like it…I would be more worried about botox treatment she’s receiving.

Edit to add…Trump seems like he’s OK after listening to him this morning on Rush radio.

Lol. Funny you say that. I have always been an open book. I dislike Trump and hate pelosi…always have. I dislike conservatism the way it is, but I still espouse conservatism.

Sometimes the bitterness of pills still has to be swallowed in order to cure the illness.

Axx thanks 1 for the honesty. It’s nice to know we agree. I have always loved the giant turd sandwich analogy. It was appropriate in 2016 and again now.

What’s the answer?

Never Trumpers believe their vision of what is conservative is the only vision.
Seems they don’t like people who see a different vison for the conservative party.
They don’t want to listen to conservatives who have a different view of where the party should go.
In fact they want to drive these conservatives out of the party.
The never Trumper’s have given us outstanding candidates of dem lights Bush, Romney and McCain.
It’s funny watching these true conservative support the left and cheer them on. It’s like they finally let us all know what they really are.
These are the people who like elected officials that just give lip service to anything conservative while they enact leftist idea’s.
Looks matter more to them than actual passing conservative idea’s.

Maybe the answer is to do what I have done. Which is listen to the Trump supporters and realize that these people are good people. People who are tired of not having a leader who stands up for them and their idea’s.

The only answer is :us: Trump Pence Four More :us:

I’m not sure maybe less candidates, seems they all slipped through the system at around the 20% mark until it was to late for the others to drop out. Let’s put it this way in 2016 on the republican side there is no way Trump would have won if it wasn’t for 10 other republicans on that stage with the exact same positions splitting the vote. By the time they figured it out it was to late.

I honestly thought watching the Democratic debates that mayor Pete was going to win he seem like a pretty good guy, young, passionate, and seemed to avoid getting pulled in with further fringes of the party. No one thought Biden was going to be the nominee until everyone dropped out before Super Tuesday.

I’m not sure that’s the best way to go about it but the vote splitting does have one negative aspect to it, it allows the most fringe candidate to garner a sizable amount of votes because they have no competition.
Whereas the mainstream candidate has to compete with anywhere from 10-20 people all holding the same positions.

I like a few of Trumps positions mainly on fair trade and in-sourcing and outsourcing as well as limiting illegal migration (Don’t need a Wall, everify would be fine), and wish if Biden wins he would at least try to protect American jobs. I can’t stand the way Trump acts it is beyond embarrassing and I quit trying to defend his behavior a long time ago. I don’t mind moderate Democrats (Bill Clinton/JFK/Obama first term, especially Senator Obama) and I like conservative (Fiscal) Republicans like Rand Paul and his father.

I am in the camp of not wanting to see the country completely change, drastic changes for a conservative is not cool

If you say so. That’s certainly not the impression that the bulk of your posts give.

Biden did say Harris is ready to be President on Day 1.

It’s the November surprise.

I think you and I are more alike than we ever knew. I can’t disagree with any of what you said.

If the election process is going to allow 10 or 12 people on stage at once for a debate. Why can’t they allow say Jo Jergensen on stage with Biden and Trump? The two-party system has forced us into Pidgeon holes that people like us can’t defend any longer.

We need other choices.

Samm,
The impression I get is that no one reads or remembers the bulk of my posts. I have always been straight forward about what I believe…

My change in my belief system started when conservatives here blamed Obama for stupid things…like bringing Ebola to America or taking the occasional vacation with his wife and young daughters. He’s costing the tax payers money…

I never liked any of Obama’s policies but he was a decent enough guy. I got tired of conservatives blasting everything he did…knowing full well what went around would come back on conservatives.

I see myself as a person who just sees the fair side of things…not the conservative or liberal side of things. Because I dislike Trump you guys have labeled me a Lib. For that reason only. I know that I am confusing. I hate Trump, but I hate Pelosi too. I have a problem with a conservative like Mc Connell holding up legislation that is good for the people because of politics…or Mc Connell holding up a Supreme Court nomination 4 years ago, and ramming it thru now.

I’m all about fair play and what is right. If it doesn’t seem right to me, it’s probably not right at all. For me it’s about integrity.

BI was a strong conservative. I am a good water Conservative…do you know what that means?

I appreciate your frankness, but IMO you have always claimed to be conservative/neutral, but the bulk of your positions have been overwhelmingly liberal. That of course is just my opinion, but I seriously doubt I am the only one here who thinks that.
