Yeah. I’d assume most believe that’s just a fancy name for “Senate majority leader.” Since the senate president pro tempore doesn’t hold a ton of power except in unusual circumstances, most probably don’t care.
I had no idea it was Chuck Grassley. I had to look it up. I knew that the President ProTempore is different from the majority leader…I just didn’t know who it was. You almost never see Grassley in the news, or focused on anywhere.

It does seem really odd that she would bring this up this closer to the election.
It’s really only going to rile Trumps base up more and possibly sway some undecideds to vote for him.
One reason he won in 2016 was precisely because of all the rampant hate for him from Washington and the press.
