Then we’re good. HIV/AIDS is not a gay disease. Thanks.

Sure it is, in this country.

Okay Mike Pence.

Stop trolling please.

From a sexual act standpoint the easiest way to transfer to transmit HIV is through unprotected anal sex. Primarily because of micro tearing and fissures that almost always occur during anal sex.

That’s the biological reason the homosexual male community has been ravaged by it. HIV passes most easily through blood contact. That’s the reason the Heroin using community is also hard hit by HIV, since needle sharing between groups of 5 or more people isn’t uncommon.

The other part (the cultural aspect) deals primarily with the accepted promiscuity in the gay male community and historically speaking aversion to using protection. (not sure about current statistics but considering the drastic drop in condom usage among millennial and Gen Z heterosexuals compared to Gen X heterosexuals I wouldn’t be surprised if the homosexual males of those two age groups had similar feelings about condom usage).

It’s not a gay male disease in that it only impacts gay males. But the nature of gay male sexual activity and the culture of promiscuity surrounding it has hit them much harder than other groups (excluding needle sharing drug users, who are in a similar boat.)

In Sub-Saharan Africa, it’s mostly Heterosexuals. And it’s almost entirely due to culture. Female/male promiscuity isn’t the taboo there that it is in the west. It’s openly accepted in many sub-Saharan cultures for both men and women to maintain extra marital relations with upwards of 15-20 people at a time. And until recently condom usage was nearly nonexistent and is still far below most westerners.

  1. Creed

  2. Protected class

It is an epidemic of the unvaccinated.

Far more likely to get infected and spread it if one is unvaccinated.

Creed does not equal “political affiliation” therefore “political affiliation” does not equal Creed.

This is true but not for the reasons you stated

Nope. Calling it a gay disease implies only gay people can get HIV/AIDS. Which isn’t true. Saying it’s a disease that predominately men who have sex with men transmit would be more accurate.

Your implies is not my problem. Homosexual males give it.

Polical beliefs held as a set of fundamental beliefs and used as guiding principles, are a creed.

Such as liberalism.

Anyone can give it. Making it not a gay disease.
