There are lots of ways to “help women around the world” that don’t include the US funding abortion for them.
How about instead we address our own problems like mental health and homelessness before we worry about birth control in the 2nd and 3rd worlds?

While well intentioned, Sanders’ focus on voluntary birth control, at least in some developing world countries, may be misguided:
In the American immigration debate, the point is often made on talk radio that Mexicans stream into the United States because their birth rate is so high. Mainstream sources sometimes make the same argument. In June, 2010, Britain’s Prince Charles...

Declining birth rates in Mexico in particular have, if anything, perhaps increased standards of living. In recent years, more Mexicans have returned home than arrived in the U S, legally or otherwise:

Assistance in obtaining voluntary birth control may be wanted more in some developing world countries than in others. Hopefully Sanders’ plan would target specifically those countries.

Warren is right on Bernie heels.

You people are free to help anyone you want. All you have to do is get off your ass and actually help someone.

Janet_Miller:
Mr. Sanders, as quoted, seems to advocate birth control first and foremost in developing world countries— “where they can have the opportunity through birth control to control the number of kids they have”. Why, then, is he being depicted as a baby killing eugenicist?
Because histrionics and hyperbole make for better polemical bomb throwing than reasoned analysis?

That cannot be shown to be true since there’s no way to document the number of illegals in the US at any given time or the numbers crossing the border.
Illegal crossing numbers are at best estimates.
So, “Whichcountryinfo.com ” is the authority you’re gonna go with?
In the obvious context of Sanders’ remarks, Mexico is not what he was referring to.
By whose definition?
Do you believe that Sanders was referring to Mexico in his statements?

By everyone listing them as a developing nation.
I don’t think Bernie put much thought into his statement at all actually.
Guilds:
That would put means testing in practice.
That could open up can of worms down the road.
I am for all income, being subject to FICA, with no max.
That would be even better but I would think that would get more resistance.
