This post doesn’t answer my question. Tossing out BLM to me is irrelevant because I am not a member nor have I donated to them.

Any way…

What party today supports the confederacy? Be honest.

1/2 of a question because you don’t have both eyes open to see that Christopher Columbus, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and others in our nation’s history that libs today are tearing down their statues also. You don’t tear down ANY statues. There are laws and processes set in place that if your feelings are hurt, then follow the laws to have them removed…PERIOD!

Cool I agree. Public Statues should not be vandalized/torn down.

Today, which party supports the confederacy?

I’m not rewriting history. Democrats in 1860 were in the confederacy.

I’m simply asking about which party in 2024 supports the confederacy. Why can’t you answer honestly?

to be more fair many were back then and not just in the colonies/US

but you knew that. you just had to ■■■■ on ol’ Geo

White Hispanico

gee….

wonder who will be declared “winner?”

It is entirely possible for a person to be an incredible human, and accomplish great things that should be acknowledged and admired, and also have flaws that, over time, can be criticized.

Jefferson wrote one of the most important documents in human history…

He also owned humans, which was acceptable at the time, but even then, was known to not be truly moral by many.

A great man, with flaws.

To be fair, you are wrong and crawfishing.

The extreme left that think like that, are very few…most of my friends are liberal…none of them support that crap…i also have a few conservative friends…even a couple Trumpsters. We have interesting conversations!

Which party today supports the confederacy? Maybe you will answer the question that has been continually dodged

Sure, I was just debunking the “associated with” qualifier. He was not just “associated with”.

But that also doesn’t mean he should have his statues torn down either

Neither, only one party had supported it in past and that is your side.

Neither? really?

Bingo!

No party.
