Should these goons be tried for murder?

I had endless options including both academic and athletic scholarship opportunities and I’d already saved enough to pay for 2 full years at any university in the state before I graduated HS and my folks had put enough away for each of us to pay for four more.

Sure.

lol - I know, right?

Did you go to Viet Nam?

No, by the time I went in it was an all volunteer force and a much better one than during the draft years.

You can thank the anti-war movement in big part for delivering that.

Ridiculous.

Or I could just stick with reality and thank the fact the Vietnam War was over and we were downsizing

That works for the small minded.

You really think the military cared where it got it’s cannon fodder?

Like you would know.

I do know. I know a lot of things you don’t know about the Vietnam conflict.

For example, 70% were volunteers. The vast majority of draftees never saw Vietnam.

I know we cared and we never looked at any of our soldiers as “cannon fodder”.

A draft army always has serious problems with discipline that an all volunteer force does not which greatly enhances our ability to accomplish the mission.

Those of us who lived it are in prime positions to know.

So just like Trump.

You’re cherry picking data.

Beginning in 1970(could have been 69) draftees were no longer sent to Nam. Before that draftee numbers and casualties were high.

No. Get you info straight. You ever get tired of being wrong?

70% for the duration. You’re out of your lane.

But you didn’t grasp the history of why, that’s obvious.

I’m not wrong.

Of course we did. We lived every minute of it and both studied and reflected on it after. You have no idea what you are talking about as usual.
