He is most certainly not. He doesn’t have to be for me to respect his writing and his mind.

What you quoted does not support your conclusion.
What I quoted are his fee fees.
Bestiality, end of all moral laws. Etc.
that was NOT the claim. the claim was there were 325,000 NEW cases of omicron among children. there were not. The claim was there are 100,000 kids seriously ill with omicron, there are not. the claim was omicron is just as deadly as delta, it is not. the claim was many of the 100,000 seriously ill children with omicron are on ventilators, simply not true.

WHO says hundreds of thousands of annual flu deaths worldwide.
Until recently, the World Health Organization (WHO) estimated the annual mortality burden of influenza to be 250 000 to 500 000 all-cause deaths globally; however, a 2017 study indicated a substantially higher mortality burden, at 290 000-650 000 influenza-associated deaths from respiratory causes alone . . .

This is the kind of things people believe who get their news exclusively from MSNBC and CNN.
The current COVID hospitalization rate for children four and under is 4.3 per 100,000. The population is about 20 million. That gives
4.3* 20 * 10 = 860 children under 4
The current hospitalization rate for children 5 to 17 is 1.4 per 100,000. The population is about 50 million. That gives:
1.4* 50 * 10 = 700 children 5 to 18
These figures are children with COVID. Many children test positive but are in the hospital for other reasons.

The AAP says that there was. If it’s wrong what’s the correct number?
no it doesn’t. learn to read. there were 325K reported cases, not new cases. reported cases include all unresolved cases cumulatively. on average there are fewer than 1500 children hospitalized with covid on any given day, not 100,000. 1/2 of those are hospitalized for other reasons and just happen to also have covid (which they likely caught in the hospital).

For the week ending 12/23 there was a cumulative total of 7,565,416 cases in children reported. For the week ending 12/30 there was a cumulative total of 7,890,756 cases, an increase of 325,340 cases.
you still don’t get the difference between new and reported.
cumulative since the beginning of the pandemic is total cases ever
reported cases is the cumulative number of unresolved cases
new cases are new.
on average there are about 700 new child covid cases per day (maybe slightly higher now), not 325,000 in one week.

They’re newly reported. I don’t get the distinction you are trying to make. Even if we assume 700 cases per day for 2 full years that come to 511,000 total cases. California alone has a cumulative total of almost 850,000 cases in children, so the 700 a day can’t be right.
She didn’t say there were 100,000 kids seriously ill with omicron, she said 100,000 in a serious condition.

Says flu kills hundreds of thousands in US each year.
Should there be penalties?
