First, Colombia not Columbia.

Next, ever checked the social and political stability of any of those countries you just listed?

Brazil is the only one that is somewhat stable from government to government and that’s a fairly recent development.

Colombia is stable. Venezuelan refugees are causing a problem right now.

Thank you for correcting that.

That is the system that has been in place since our founding.

They also have among the highest levels of violent crime on the planet.

Armed robbery and Kidnapping are so common there they are cottage industries.

Columbia’s stability prior to US intervention in the drug war there was all but non existent.

I wouldn’t say the system…But the actual electors could go. You win the state you get those votes assigned to that state. No need for the electors.

Sorry, I was not clear. Old tired wants the current election results to be thrown out and the state legislatures to vote.

I’d prefer we keep to our current electoral college system.

I could go for that.

In the case of Nebraska and Maine, where EVs can be split, that is also determined on election day. No need for step-2 there either.

Can’t even spell it right, yet an expert. That post is quite simply ignorant.
