Now we know.
At the time it was a tough call to over rule WHO.
Canada fail at a number of thing every day.
would you like to start a thread on it.

I always like this thinking.
We saw the countries that border China, who experienced both SARS and MERS, acting with lightning speed once news started dribbling out of China.
We saw China, despite their assertions that there was no human to human transmission, building pretty large hospitals from scratch.
These ought to have been strong signals something was upā¦but because the WHO and China were telling a different story, we didnāt āseeā these signals.
Should be a learning for next timeā¦weāll see if it is.
and in jan the task force was formed, work began on developing treatments and vaccines, containment efforts were initiated and mitigation efforts were devised. and those efforts have been strengthened and augmented ever since as new facts have presented themselves.
and everything the task force has done has been perfect.

None of the bolded happened.
Iām blaming the WHO for the failures of the WHO.
Given we cannot act until we know, I fail to see any egregious errors. Decisions were made on the information we had. Those decisions seem to have been appropriate at the time they were made.

Thanks for taking the time to write this. Those are good answers that I need think on.
There were plenty of clear and delivered warnings from our own Deep State going back to November. They were just ignored.

Noā¦decisions were made on what was recognized, not what was known.
Signals that were missed when more vigorous action could have been taken
*We had cases in the US
*We had person to person transmission in the US
*We had China rushing all out to increase hospital space
*We had countries bordering Chinaā¦and who didnāt trust themā¦gearing up for an early aggressive battle against the virus.
None of these data were synthesized together to reach a proper conclusion.

We donāt know that was trueā¦the organization ABC News started as having delivered that warning denied it.
Iām going off what I know for sure we knew at the time.
Then , for some reason, letās give these jokers the benefit of the doubt and go back to Ignoring it since December.
of course it did.
just a few examples. the lies your liberal masters feed you are easy to expose.
your masters lied to you. there were no such warnings.

and those were identified and quarantined. their actions were traced and other people were screened.
ditto the first response. is there something else they should have done? Maybe turn Seattle and Chicago into interment camps?
and? from what we knew at the time the risk was still low. at the time we did not know that persons could be spreading it around asymptomatically. we were working under the assumption that people who could spread the decease would exhibit symptoms, hence, we asked anyone who exhibited symptoms to self quarantine. Maybe we should have just arrested anyone who passed by anyone who had passed by someone else who may have seen someone down the block who may or may not have brushed by anyone at the airport?
so? We put screening measures in place from anywhere that was a hotspot. Maybe we should have just shot the planes down?
the proper conclusion based on our current (at the time) knowledge was reached. measures were taken, further measures were planned.

Those articles do not dispute what I said.
they certainly do. denial will not change that.
they had already instituted some measures and were working on further measures to contain and mitigate. quarantining of known cases and screening of possible cases started in Jan.
