The People.

if these cops made honest mistakes then good cops

bad things happen to good < fill in the blank >

Why are we putting ā€œgood copsā€ in prison for mistakes?

sorry dont follow you. do you expect people to police themselves, protect each other… maintain order?

It’s how they used to do it.

because they are over-ly punished, due to pressures from gov’t and media

they are blamed for everything. never the scumbag arm long rap sheet perp

Weak.

 You really didn’t know?

Isn’t public policy what the OP is about?

Tell you what. Go do your research, come back and explain why it’s not analogous, and I’ll grade your work.

The study.

It’s not analogous at all, it’s one example.

The answer is yes, the medical profession has qualified immunity. More so when working public service.

And here’s another thing:

Doctors and nurses should be held to a much, much higher standard than cops.

A doctor error should be double the prison time of a cop’s.

Not defining the terms makes it flawed in my opinion. It was also very small and limited. I always try to be skeptical, I have nothing against Johns Hopkins.

Then stop attacking them and be honest. You just don’t like the outcome so try to diminish it. It’s fine.

I’m not attacking them, I’m attacking the conclusions of a flawed scientific study. You fell for the media clickbait without really thinking about it. It’s a common mistake.
