In many other countries, there are no private k-12 schools. All kids, no matter their economic status, gets a good, education. And the wealthy kids, interact with the not so wealthy, and even poor kids.

Applying capitalism to education, especially for k-12 education, can be counter productive for the health of a society.

If one eats poorly, exercise does not do much to lose weight, or remain at a healthy weight.

Unless one is working out pretty hard, 2-4 hours a day.

Why is it you folks claim to be “pro choice” while being hell bent on denying so many of us any choice at all in so many areas?

Well, that misses the point entirely. Hint: if Gooddad believes that his example of school subsidy does little more than raise tuitions (and I agree with him, for perhaps the first time), then it follows that the so-called school choice vouchers would do so as well.

We’ll ignore how you’re missing the fact that people without children aren’t getting this tax rebate, despite the fact that they also pay school taxes.

A lack of physical activity. As a kid we were always playing baseball, climbing trees or running around the neighborhood. Too many kids are shutting themselves in, addicted to their gadgets.
