Certainly. We can survive without Vegas for a while. I’m a little uneasy about random dates for restarting. This should be driven by actual events. Not because we just want to get back to work.

Not much went wrong, that’s my whole point! The covid 19 virus could have been around my city long before China fessed up because trust me the tourism is non stop 24/7/365 days a year and yet we are barely impacted. It may have already come & gone in my area with people having it thinking it was just a cold or the flu. We have 4 deaths total for the entire state and 2 in my county the last time I checked which was this afternoon.
3 weeks ago there had been a total of 6 deaths in the US
now we are at 553 and its increasing 30% a day
just 10 days ago new york had its first death. now its 210 and increasing 25% a day

Yes, Trump is dreaming if he thinks people will go back to work next week without a spike in casualties.
Easy, no travel unless absolutely necessary.
We have several thousand just in the complex I work at. 1 person gets it it would spread like wildfire. Right now we are on 100% work remote, since we are considered essential if I need to go in I will get a letter from my boss.

Indeed there are hot spots in the USA regarding covid 19 that should be addressed individually but this blanket panic shut down across the country is not necessary and it’s really kind of stupid, IMO!!

Yea he waited too long to lockdown the nation. Now he’s not waiting long enough for the lockdown to flatten the curve
